Biofiber-Damino carries out its activities in accordance with EU regulations and Danish national regulations.
The basic regulations are laid down in the Directives 79/373/EEC og 96/25/EC and the Regulations 2005/183/EFC and 2003/1831/EC.
We are registered as feedstuff manufacturers according to the provisions laid down in EU Directive 95/69/EU under Reg.No. 208-R 752720.
In Denmark, the supervising authority is the Danish Plant Directorate (Danish Ministry of Food, Agriculture and Fisheries). By means of random visits of inspection and audits it checks whether we are currently in conformity with the provisions laid down in the Feed Hygiene Regulation.

An audit may include e.g.: Check of the Quality and Management System itself Traceability Batch separation Storage Transportation Prior to promotion of a product outside the EU, the product in question is always submitted to the national authorities for approval. Their acceptance of the EU set of regulations An individual acceptance in relation to national regulations Adaption of the labelling applied Special requirements with regard to domestic flora and fauna such as: - Handling of feed materials - Special risk analysis - Fumigation of packing
Biofiber-Damino is presently partitipating in an EU working team, the purpose of which is reapproval of feed additives by the EU.
