BIOFIBER-DAMINO A/S was established in 1978 with the aim of developing and producing a dietetic product for the treatment of diarrhoea in animals.
During the years, the product range has widened, however, continues to be aiming at the target group mother/young. The products are typically characterized as feedingstuffs intended for particular nutritional purposes also known as dietetic feedingstuffs.
In our world-wide marketing, the term NON-MEDICATED PRODUCT® is applied. In this way, BIOFIBER-DAMINO A/S wishes to clearly express its business concept.
The products are based on natural, biologically active raw materials and do not contain any antibiotics, hormones or other kinds of drugs. The processing is carried out as gently as possible with a view to keeping and optimizing the good properties which natural products typically have.
The production of the finished goods necessarily must be subject to special, strict rules in order to achieve the desired effect.
Products from BIOFIBER-DAMINO A/S typically are coated, i.e. a coating layer having specific properties is applied to each one of the particles. The objective of the coating, which is carried out by means of patented processes, may for example be to increase the solubility (the "instant soluble" technology) and/or tastiness, to ensure a slow release of active substances or to make the product homogeneous, in order that the ingredients remain evenly distributed - also after a long transport.
Furthermore, the company has aimed at organizing the practical application of the products in such a way that the well-being and behaviour of the animals are given a high priority, in order that customers' requirements in this respect are being met at the same time.
All products are developed and produced by BIOFIBER-DAMINO A/S' own staff and are based on great professional competence in the field of biochemistry, as well as general and advanced manufacturing processes.
The whole company is working in conformity with a quality and management system, which comprises all functions within development, production and administration.
The company is certified in accordance with the standards ISO 9001:2000, ISO 22000:2005 and the German QS.
BIOFIBER-DAMINO A/S is registered as a producer according to Council Regulation (EC) No. 183/2005, under Reg. No. 208-R 752720.
The products are available in large veterinary shops as well as in a number of specialist companies and feedstuff companies. These companies also provide advisory services about the products.
